Application of SPG technology
Application
SPG is used as a functional glass that takes advantage of its features.
In particular, it has been applied in the “SPG emulsification” and “SPG bubbling” as a “dispersion membrane” that disperses liquids and gases by making the best use of pore characteristics, and shows characteristic performance that can only be imitated by SPG that cannot be imitated by other technologies. In particular, the “SPG emulsification” can be said to be the one and only technology as an emulsification method that is a monodisperse emulsion and can adjust the particle size.
As a filter, glass material, heat resistance, and pore shape (monolith structure) are utilized, and it is applied to filtration and classification of metals and ceramic porous materials, and substances that cannot be used with organic filters.
In addition, we have a track record of research as a heat-dissipating material, sensor element, and a catalyst that combines an SPG membrane and a functional substance due to the degree of freedom in surface area by changing the pores.
Currently, such SPG technology is used in various fields such as medical, harmaceuticals, chemistry, electronics, cosmetics, and food.
